“Zelensky wants peace,” Trump said. “He’s calling for a ceasefire and believes the conflict should end. Putin should agree because it’s time. After losing 700,000 people, peace is the only option.” Trump avoided discussing specific peace terms but emphasized the urgency of ending the war.

Trump also addressed his dialogue with Macron, focusing on NATO’s financial contributions. The former president reiterated his long-standing stance that member nations must pay their fair share.
